KYZEN has announced that it was awarded a 2017 Global Technology Award in the category of Cleaning Equipment for the KYZEN ANALYST. The award was presented to the company during a ceremony that took place during productronica in Munich, Germany. Launched in the fall of 2016, the KYZEN ANALYST received instant acceptance and broad adoption, closely followed by now three industry awards for innovation for its breakthrough features and technology.

  Derbyshire-based Paul Fabrications, a Unitech Aerospace company, has been used for both aqueous and solvent systems for a long time to wash machined, pressed and fabricated stainless steel components for its customer, Springfields Fuels, near Preston, which supplies fuel pellets for advanced gas-cooled reactors in the UK.

Speaking at the Texas Cleaning and Reliability Workshops in Austin and Dallas he stated that process control remains a major deficiency in the cleaning of PCBs, whether it be on the benchtop or in an automated cleaning system.

Cleaning solution reduces environmental impact
Global electro-chemicals manufacturer, Electrolube, has developed acleaning solution called Safewash Super (SWAS) for PCB wafer assemblers, following close collaboration with a number of manufacturers to considerably improve their cleaning capabilities as well as speed up throughput, reduce costs and decrease environmental impact. Whilst cleaning processes can vary from plant to plant, the silicone wafer manufacturers in collaboration with Electrolube all had many issues in common.
