RS Components has sealed an exclusive agreement with Electrolube to supply Airduster Zero, a completely safe and environmentally friendly active-carbon based air duster. The newly launched Airduster Zero is ideal for assembly, installation or maintenance tasks, safely removing dust and airborne contamination from delicate items or equipment susceptible to electrostatic discharge (ESD).

It delivers a consistent blast of gas with variable control, and is invertible for cleaning intricate areas or where access is restricted.

An innovative active-carbon formula ensures zero emission of greenhouse gases such as hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) as well as zero flammability and zero toxicity, thereby improving care for the environment and user safety. The odourless gas causes no reduction in indoor air quality.

RS and Electrolube have worked together to create this exclusive introductory offer, meaning Airduster Zero is available only from RS until May 2015. This advanced new product further extends the range of Electrolube specialised cleaning fluids and sprays available from RS.

"Adding Airduster Zero exclusively to our range restates our ongoing commitment to provide electronic and electrical engineers with a full range of innovative solutions through all stages of the industrial lifecycle, from design to maintenance," said Glenn Jarrett, Global Head of Product Marketing at RS.
