Scott Fillebrown, CTO of EMS provider Libra Industries, will present during the PCB West Conference (Sept 13-16) at the Santa Clara Convention Center in CA. Fillebrown will present “Manufacturability through Design”.

More and more electrical engineers are designing their own circuits. The presentation will include aspects of the past presentation entitled, ‘Factorsto Consider for a Successful DFA,’ but will include some of the approaches and tools to make sure the board is producible at both the fabrication house and the EMS facility. The presentation about design for assembly (DFA) is said to be ideal for hardware engineers.

Fillebrown is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Libra Industries, a multi-site EMS company. Previously, he was president and CEO of ACD, a PCB design and EMS company, where he was from 1995 until its purchase by Libra Industries in 2016. He graduated from the University of Texas – Dallas with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Marketing.
