Addressing many common issues surrounding the use of masking products, HumiSeal will launch a range of masking products at productronica 2015. Visitors to Hall A4 Stand 246 will be able to see this 2nd gen product and find out how extensive R&D trials and tests have ensured that it meets the exacting standards required when being used with conformal coatings.

The range of dots and tapes are available in standard sizes as well as bespoke sizes and formats making them extremely flexible for specific board designs or standard applications. The latest materials are silicone free and address the problem of solvents attacking the tape and adhesive. They are also extremely easy to apply and remove leaving no residue on the substrate.

The specific benefits the HumiSeal range of masking products include:

  • High surface conformability;
  • Clean, easy removal;
  • Clean, accurate separation line;
  • Silicone free adhesive;
  • Easy peel-off dots from carrier tape; and
  • Solvent resistant.

The standard tapes are available in 3, 7, 10, 13, 16, 19, 22 and 25mm sizes with other sizes available on request. The dots are available in standard sizes of 5, 7, 10, 12, 16 and 19mm with other sizes and shapes also available on request.

Chris Palin, EMEIA Manager, HumiSeal Europe, commented: “I am delighted that these products are now available to the industry. We have been developing this product range for some time listening to customers and trying to accommodate their requirements. These new dots and tapes represent an entirely new generation of masking products, offering very good resistance to solvents whilst remaining silicone free.”

Sample packs are available on request.
