BTU International has announced that it will exhibit the PYRAMAX reflow oven and its enhanced ENERGY PILOT software in booth B-1F55 at NEPCON South China, scheduled to take place 25th - 27th August, 2015, at the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center in China. ENERGY PILOT is a feature in the latest release of BTU’s windows-based WINCON operating system.

The ENERGY PILOT software saves manufacturers money whenever the oven is idle. Standby mode can save more than 25%. Sleep mode can be used for longer interruptions saving more than 40%.

Long idle periods fully shut down the oven using hibernate mode. Recovery times are minimised using remote product sensors and SMEMA. Operation is fully automatic and results in an overall reduction in electrical, air and nitrogen consumption and includes monitoring down to the cost per unit level. The feature is easily upgradeable on older BTU reflow ovens.

BTU’s PYRAMAX convection reflow oven is the benchmark for performance in the industry. The PYRAMAX features a maximum temperature of 400°C and a comprehensive menu of options. PYRAMAX systems, featuring BTU’s exclusive closed-loop convection technology, provide optimised lead-free processing for the ultimate in productivity and efficiency.

“In addition to taking advantage of idle time to reduce oven operating costs, the latest release of BTU’s Energy Pilot software allows users of BTU reflow ovens to monitor their on-going costs down to the per unit level,” said Jim Griffin, Vice President Sales and Service, BTU International. “We are committed to enabling our customer’s success through ovens with low operating costs, very high throughput and the lowest downtime,” added Griffin.
