MicroCare Europe bvba has expanded its facilities in Belgium to provide the additional capacity it believes is required to grow.

The new 350 sqm. (3,500 sq. ft.) facility is close to Brussels which the company says is ideal  to better serve the growing base of customers in industries such as electronics, precision cleaning and fiber optics. The increased logistical space will be dedicated specifically to meet the increased demand for the European marketplace.

The warehouse expansion will allow MicroCare to serve European customers from one large, centralised unit. With the new warehouse on-line, the growth and distribution of MicroCare products to customers throughout Europe can be supported more efficiently and with shorter lead-times. The new facility also offers exceptional security features and separated handling of in-bound and out-bound goods, delivering efficiencies.

This expansion co-incides with the opening of the two new facilities in the US. Most recently, a state-of-the-art 1,500 s.m. (15,000 sq. ft.) manufacturing space was inaugurated at MicroCare in New Britain, CT, USA. This additional space includes a manufacturing space, a QC lab, offices and a small logistics area. That facility is already working with two shifts of workers every day. Additionally, MicroCare recently added a 10,000 s.m. (100,000 sq. ft.) global logistics centre in the same area.
