The Filtration Division of power management company Eaton will demonstrate how its filtration products, technologies and services help increase efficiency and sustainability while exhibiting at the Pollutec 2016 trade show, Stand F172 in Hall 5, 29th November to 2nd December in Lyon, France.

The exhibition programme includes water management solutions for bottled water, wastewater, utility and process water, desalination and heat exchanger protection, as well as bag and cartridge filtration systems for a wide range of industrial applications.

One of the highlights is Eaton’s MCF mechanically cleaned filters. This range of automatic self-cleaning filters dramatically reduces product loss, requires minimal operator intervention, improves flow consistency and features continuous operation even during cleaning cycles.

Also on display is Eaton’s Model 2596 automatic self-cleaning strainer, a motorised unit designed to continuously remove entrained solids from liquids and pipeline systems, prevent damage to expensive pipeline system components, lower energy consumption, and minimise maintenance costs. There is no media disposal or emissions.

Visitors will have the opportunity to learn about the high-performing filter media for various industrial applications. Eaton’s TOPLINE single bag filter housing is designed for a variety of applications and features a side inlet, flow through top for easy filter bag change-outs and provides optimum sealing of the filter bag. When used with the CLEARGAF filter bags, it meets EC and FDA requirements in food and beverage applications, such as bottled water. Eaton’s DURAGAF extended-life filter bags and MAX-LOAD pleated filter bags reduce the number of filter bag change-outs in water treatment and industrial applications, resulting in improved operating efficiencies, reduced operation costs, and increased operator safety. DURAGAF filter bags extend service lifetime due to their increased thickness of filter material by two to five times compared to standard needle felt filter bags. The pleated construction of MAX-LOAD filter bags provides more filter area than non-pleated bags and increases dirt-holding capacity by up to ten times more than a similarly sized standard needle felt filter bag.

The exhibition programme will be rounded out by Eaton’s filter cartridges. These will include:

  • LOFPLEAT HF pleated filter cartridges with large diameter for applications requiring high flow capacity.
  • LOFPLEAT EE all-polypropylene filter cartridges with economically efficient design and large surface area.
  • BECO PROTECT CS depth filter cartridges equipped with high purity cellulose filter material in wrapping for high particle retention.
  • BECO PROTECT FS depth filter cartridges featuring pleating for long service life and variable flow directions.
