The Zero-Smog EL filtration unit from Weller provides protection for engineers working in soldering environments and is especially suitable for small soldering applications on an electronics design workbench. This latest addition to the range of Zero-Smog filtration units and filters is an ideal tool for safe soldering, as well as enabling power and cost savings, and high operational flexibility.

It is now in stock at RS Components.

The filtration unit provides fume extraction capability directly on the workbench. It has a high-quality and long-life brushless turbine, which makes the unit capable of producing a suction volume of 150m3/h, and has a high level of extraction power at 2500 Pa to ensure maximum health protection for users.

The combination of an energy-saving on/off switch and an electronic filter monitor with alarm means that the Zero-Smog EL is capable of optimising operating conditions at up to two workplace units.

The cost-effective extraction unit is highly portable enabling it to be placed under or next to the bench-top, and its flexible and adjustable ‘Easy-Click 60’ arms allow easy adjustment at the workbench to enable optimal safe positioning.

The installation is easy and the tool can be ready for use in less than four minutes.

The unit also provides additional health protection via the device’s filter monitoring and filter alarm systems.

The system has four speed adjustments for power regulation, as well as a large EPA H13 filter surface of 2.4m2, thereby delivering a longer filter lifetime.
