Zestron will take the opportunity of the NEPCON Japan show 2015 to highlight its water-based Micro Phase Cleaning (MPC) technology for assemblies, power modules and stencils. This water-based cleaning technology combines the advantages of conventional cleaning with solvents and surfactants.

The main features of water-based MPC cleaning agents are low VOC values, the absence of a flash point and low cost to the user.

MPC cleaning agents can remove a wide range of residues such as fluxes, solder pastes, SMT-adhesives and are an optimal replacement for solvents. They can be applied using different cleaning equipment with mechanical agitation such as ultrasonic, spray under immersion or spray in air support either in batch or inline cleaning machines.

Worldwide, over 2,000 processes have been installed in Europe, USA and China, which the company touts as successful proof of the effectiveness of its cleaning technology.
