Conformal coating system features multi-valve technology
A conformal coating system, which is also available for dispensing and/or potting, has been introduced by Specialty Coating Systems (SCS). The SCS Precisioncoat V is a three axis system, which has an option to add fully programmable fourth and fifth axes for tilt and rotation capabilities.
Featuring multi-valve technology, the system allows for the application of dots, lines, fills, glob tops and spray coat areas. According to the company, the Precisioncoat V ensures accuracy, repeatability and high throughput in a compact system.
The system’s Windows-based software allows users to customise each programme based on material and pattern. Downtime is kept to a minimum by the Precisioncoat’s offline programming feature.
