Exhibiting at this years SMTA Michigan Expo & Tech Forum, scheduled to take place 5th May, will be Kurtz Ersa North America. Representatives from the company will be discussing the complete Ersa product line, including its latest products, Smartflow 2020 selective soldering system and HR600 hybrid rework system.

Kurtz Ersa North America introduces its recent Digital Position Setup Tool. The tool has been designed primarily for use on Ersa selective soldering machines such as the VERSAFLOW 3, VERSAFLOW 4050 and VERSAFLOW 5060 models.

Red Rock Reps is to highlight Kurtz Ersa's complete product line at the SMTA Rocky Mountain Expo Tech Forum, scheduled to take place on Wednesday 28th January 2015 at the West Club, Mile High Stadium, Denver, Colorado. Red Rock Reps will discuss the full Ersa product line, including the HR 600 hybrid rework system and ECOSELECT 1.

Kurtz Ersa North America recently held its ERSA Versaflow 3 Selective Soldering Level II Application Training and Maintenance Course at its facility in Plymouth, Wisconsin. The course was a success with students from six different companies in attendance, gaining the knowledge required to properly maintain the Versaflow 3 with minimal to zero defects with the highest throughput possible.

  Kurtz Ersa North America has installed a VERSAFLOW 3/45 selective soldering system, the industry’s most widely used in-line selective soldering platform, at Gables Engineering in Florida.

Teledyne Printed Circuit Technology (PCT) has selected an ECOSELECT 1 selective soldering machine citing its superior performance soldering through-hole connector products into complex multi-layer rigid flex assemblies.  Kurtz Ersa’s ECOSELECT 1 requires less than 3 m² of space, allowing it to fit into cell production environments.  

  Kurtz Ersa's POWERFLOW N2 full nitrogen tunnel machine, designed to meet the challenges of lead-free, can reduce lead-free wave solder running costs by up to 90%. A POWERFLOW N2 machine has been purchased by Universal Electronics (UEI), to be installed at their facility.

Kurtz Ersa North America has delivered the new ERSASCOPE 2 to ACME PCB Assembly. Superior picture quality, increased light sensitivity and plug-and-play ease of use with USB 2.0 technology were cited as just some of the capabilities that drew ACME PCB Assembly to the ERSASCOPE 2.

  Kurtz Ersa North America announces that ACME PCB Assembly has purchased an IR/PL 650 XL Rework system. Reworking large PCBs can be extremely difficult, and Ersa has responded with a large board rework machine that safely handles even the toughest applications.

An ERSA Versaflow 3 Selective Soldering Level II Application Training Course will be held by Kurtz Ersa North America, allowing students an insight into how to maintain the Versaflow 3. Scheduled to take place on November 5th and November 7th 2014, at 1pm and 12pm respectively, the event will be held at the company's facility in Plymouth, WI.

Boasting whisper-quiet operation, the i-CON VARIO 4 soldering station has been released by Ersa. The multi-channel soldering and de-soldering station provides air and vacuum generation for up to four simultaneously operating soldering and de-soldering tools. With the station, efficient processing of all SMT and THT soldering tasks is enabled. 

Suited for development, production, rework and maintenance in most THT and SMD applications, Kurtz Ersa North America has announced the i-CON 2 industrial soldering station. The two-channel 120W station provides users two active soldering and de-soldering tools at the same time.

  The i-CON 1, a soldering station manufactured by Kurtz Ersa North America, is now available for sale worldwide. To provide fast heating and heat recovery, the 80W station uses the 150W i-Tool. This tool also ensures that the temperature of the soldering tip remains constant.

Suitable for entry-level professionals, the i-CON NANO soldering station has been introduced by Kurtz Ersa North America. Featuring a footprint of only 145x80mm (5.7x3.1"), the manufacturer has claimed that the i-CON NANO is the first ultra-compact 80W industrial soldering station in the world.

In Booth #134 at SMTA International 2014, Kurtz Ersa North America will exhibit the HR 600 hybrid rework system and demonstrate how the equipment unifies all essential process steps in one system. The HR 600 offers every option from manual operation, to automatic soldering, desoldering and placement, requiring only little action from the operator.

A soldering station, suitable for entry-level professionals, has been released by Kurtz Ersa North America. At 80W and with a footprint of only 145x80mm, the i-CON PICO is both high powered and compact. The station uses i-tool PICO, which has more than 40 different i-Tip soldering tips of 102 series.

With a variety of products targeting production, rework, maintenance and hobbyists, Kurtz Ersa North America has introduced the i-CON family of soldering and de-soldering stations. The 80W i-CON PICO and i-CON NANO entry-level stations offer a footprint of only 145x80mm (5.7x3.1"). The i-CON PICO is intended for hobbyists, while the i-CON NANO is suited for industrial use, meeting all criteria for ESD protection.

A Versaflow 3 Level II application training course is being held by Kurtz Ersa North America. This will take place on 17th and 19th September 2014, at the company's facility in Plymouth, Wisconsin. Attendees will gain knowledge and hands-on experience of process application and programming on the Versaflow 3 selective soldering machine.

At the 2014 SMTA West Penn Expo & Tech Forum, Kurtz Ersa North America have announced their intention to exhibit the i-CON Series Solder Stations. The i-CON C family of intelligent soldering stations responds to the ever-increasing demands faced by soldering operators.

  At the IPC APEX EXPO, scheduled for March 25-27 2014 in Las Vegas, USA, Kurtz Ersa North America will showcase the VERSAFLOW 3/45 selective soldering system in Booth #825. The company has claimed that this is the industry’s most widely used in-line selective soldering platform.
