Britney Huet-Scibana has been promoted from Senior Program Administrator to Junior Program Manager at Libra Industries, a privately held electronics manufacturing services (EMS) provider. Huet-Scibana has been with Libra Industries for seven years and has worked in various positions within the Program Management Department.

Libra Industries announced plans to exhibit at the LED Assembly, Reliability & Testing (A.R.T.) Symposium, scheduled to take place November 29-December 1, 2016 at the Crown Plaza Midtown in Atlanta, GA. From its four state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in Northeast Ohio and now Texas, Libra Industries serves a diverse base of industries such as medical, military/aerospace, industrial and LED lighting.

Libra Industries has completed the installation of its new Omron CDK VP5200-V Solder Paste Inspection system. The system was installed at the Libra Industries’ Mentor facility and the company plans to install a second system at its Dallas facility in the near future.

Libra Industries has purchased a Heller 1707MKIII-IR ultra low power consumption curing oven with IR Heater Modules and will install it at the Libra Industries corporate headquarters in Mentor, OH in January 2016.

EMS provider Libra Industries has registered its Dallas facility with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as a supplier to medical OEMs.  The addition of the FDA registration alongside the company’s current certifications allows Libra Industries to further its support in the medical electronics market. 

  Libra Industries has announced the acquisition of electronics contract manufacturer ACD. The acquisition is a major step in Libra Industries’ strategy to increase revenues and capture a larger share of the electronics contracting market.

  Libra Industries has partnered with Ephesus Lighting for assembly and test services required to supply high performance LED stadium lights for the 2015 Super Bowl at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Arizona, USA.

The EMS provider Libra Industries has announced the acquisition of Focus Manufacturing. Under the agreement Libra Industries will benefit from Focus Manufacturing’s metal fabrication capabilities, while Focus Manufacturing will continue operations under its own name.

In an effort to increase revenues and capture a larger share of the electronics contracting market, Libra Industries has acquired the Ohio-based Tetrad Electronics. Libra Industries will assume full ownership of Tetrad, an EMS company with 2013 sales of $10m, effective immediately. 

Boasting a robust design and unique heat transfer system, Vitronic's Soltec XPM3 reflow soldering system has been purchased by Libra Industries.
