Software extends power of boundary scan testing

Software that helps engineers develop better test programs and operate more efficiently has been released by XJTAG. It introduces a new API that brings boundary scan’s power of individual pin control into a developer’s own test code, an editor that allows device models to be created that have configurable options for maximum reuse, and data-rich log files that are now even easier for existing systems to analyse.

Fast ISP flash configuration delivered for ARM-Based FPGA SoCs

Fast ISP flash configuration delivered for ARM-Based FPGA SoCs
XJTAG has extended the capability of its high-speed In-System Programming (ISP) technology, XJFlash by bringing the benefits of XJFlash to memory devices connected to the processor sub-system of dual ARM-Cortex-A9 based FPGAs. Using XJFlash speeds up programming times by as much as 20 times faster than existing solutions when configuring memory attached to the processor sub-systems of the industry’s leading FPGA SoCs, such as Xilinx Zynq and Altera Cyclone V SoCs, which feature dual ARM Cortex-A9 processors.

Software suite enhances design to test cycle

Software suite enhances design to test cycle
Major new features of the XJTAG Development System including Log File Viewer and Waveform Viewer will be on parade at productronica in Munich (November 10-14).  Working in conjunction with XJTAG’s production test environment, XJRunner, Log File Viewer bridges the gap between the design domain and the production test environment by allowing test engineers to capture vital fault diagnosis and convey it back to design teams, enabling effective improvements in the Design for Manufacture and Test (DFM&T) process.
