Sun Chemical will launch two new products to its extensive range of products for PCBs on stand 481, Hall B1 at productronica 2015, 10th to 13th November 2015 in Munich, Germany. The latest-gen Imagecure DI Soldermask and an advanced heat-resistant temporary peelable mask will be on display, along with a selection of products from its extensive offerings for PCB applications including soldermasks for rigid PCBs, etch/plating resists, legend/marking inks, conductive inks and a range of products for other printed electronic applications.

Sun Chemical’s Imagecure DI Soldermask has been designed for optimal use with direct imaging equipment and is the latest addition to its Imagecure range which are approved globally by many OEMs, most notably in the automotive industry. Capable of being exposed at less than 140mJ on most direct image machines, the Imagecure DI Soldermask delivers the same colour density as a conventional soldermask and can produce fine features down to 30μm. This makes it suitable for use for smaller printed circuit board applications including the growing small tablet and smartphone market.

Also launching at productronica is an improved temporary peelable mask. This latest masking product has been designed to withstand high temperature soldering and offers a combination of improved adhesion while also allowing for easy peel and removal. Available in green, red or blue, the peelable mask can also be used as a temporary plating resist with commonly used ENIG chemistry.

“As the leading European supplier of photo-image soldermask products for the PCB industry, we are constantly monitoring the market and customer needs to ensure our products not only offer solutions to current demands, as well as using this expertise and knowledge to develop future-proof offerings,” says Tony Searle, Business Manager, Circuits, Sun Chemical.

“productronica once again provides us with the perfect platform to showcase our very latest developments and gives us the opportunity to interact and engage with the market to enable us to demonstrate our unique and extensive portfolio of products, reinforcing our standing as a major ink partner in the industry.”

All of Sun Chemical’s products for the PCB industry are compliant with REACH, RoHS and WEEE legislation.
