Count On Tools has today revealed another expansion of its manufacturing operations at its Gainesville, GA headquarters. The recent expansion is in response to the growing market for SMT nozzles and consumables as well as the increased demand for its precision contract machining services.

According to company representative Zach Shook, COT recently purchased a second Zeiss CONTURA G2 Coordinate Measuring Machine. The CONTURA G2 is ideal for small to mid-sized companies that require the benefits of high-speed scanning. VAST scanning technology enables quality inspections at maximum speed with high-quality measuring results. Process changes are detected at an early stage, high production quality is ensured and rejected parts are reduced.

The industries that COT serves count on accuracy of part specifications and on-time delivery of orders. This new machine will help COT achieve both. Additionally, the new machine handles jobs faster by providing COT with increased production speeds and faster processing power for complex parts with tighter tolerances.

“This new equipment helps us to check tight tolerance, precision components quickly and consistently,” said Shook. “As a result, we can now respond to changing customer needs faster and at highly competitive costs.
