Soldering equipment specialist JBC has increased the capacity of its DME station which can now manage up to four tools simultaneously and works with most JBC tools. This means users can work with up to 24 tools at the same time.

JBC has also told us that its new PSE unit can handle up to four tools simultaneously and has no interface. As a result, users can personalize over 20 parameters, such as the language, and ensure that these settings cannot be modified during the work process, which is said to guarantee quality. Users can manage and monitor the station using a PC or a robot.

It can also be connected to the B-Net system via USB-B or LAN (Ethernet) so it can be controlled remotely. Users can also connect the ports to peripherals which means each tool can work with a module and a pedal at the same time. The four LEDs on the front panel of the station indicate if the ports are connected and what the tool’s status is: eg Work or Sleep mode.
